Console Construction
The basic design philosophy of the Moducom console cabinetry is in accordance with human engineering factors as developed
through numerous contacts with dispatch center personnel. The result of these contacts is an emphasis on modular construction (building block design), and on offering flexibility and expandability.
The console consists of either single bay enclosures which are mechanically joined together or acoustical panels with
attached desk surfaces and equipment enclosures. Drawer cabinets, typewriter extensions, center extensions, corner and angle wedge sections have been designed to complement this building block concept.
Because of this philosophy, the console can be configured to a specific requirement of the specifications today, yet have the building block flexibility to be changed at some time in the future.
